Hale & Hearty:

Hale and Hearty Soups opened their first location more than 20 years ago in NYC, in a small storefront on 64th and Lexington. Their mission was to bring hearty, high quality comfort food to busy, hungry people. In a tiny kitchen at the back of the store, they made rich, delicious soups, while at the counter up front, they ladled them up to hundreds of New Yorkers each day. We chose a name that described our food—robust, wholesome, and promoting wellness, body and soul.

At Hale and Hearty Soups, we believe soup makes everything better. That's why we make our soups 100% from scratch in our Brooklyn kitchen, with homemade stock, local ingredients, and absolutely no added preservatives. We start each soup with fresh, natural, produce that we cut the day it's cooked, and simmer into our chowder, chili, mac & cheese and bisque. We believe in making soup that's not only delicious, but creates a moment of comfort in the day—it's to be savored.

Just Salad:

Founded in 2006 by childhood friends Nick Kenner and Rob Crespi after noticing a shortage of healthy yet affordable food options in Manhattan, Just Salad is a growing fast casual salad concept that serves salads, wraps, smoothies, soups, grain bowls and market plates.

Just Salad focuses on four guiding principles to create great healthy fast-food:

  • Everyday Fresh
  • Logically Local
  • Proactive Proteins
  • Organic and Non-GMO

EVERYDAY FRESH - Our produce arrives fresh daily. We serve it raw, roasted, baked, or steamed. Never canned. Nothing fake.

LOGICALLY LOCAL - In-season, local ingredients when they are at optimal freshness. It’s the way their farmers would want it.

PROACTIVE PROTEINS – Just Salad only source from farms that treat their protein right. Whether it’s grass-fed beef, sustainable seafood, or antibiotic-free chicken.

ORGANIC & NON-GMO - A big priority is sourcing the right ingredients. It’s always on thier mind so it doesn’t have to be on their customers.
